Demonstrating its efforts in building on the existing relationships with its partners and strengthening its ties with stakeholders, BankDhofar recently organized Wholesale Banking Partners’ Meet Event. The event was attended by Abdul Hakeem Omar Al Ojaili, CEO of BankDhofar, and BankDhofar’s Corporate Banking management team, who welcomed the representatives of the corporates and the stakeholders.

BankDhofar announced that it has successfully raised OMR 115.5 million Basel III compliant Additional Tier 1 (AT1) bond listed on the Muscat Stock Exchange. This is the largest OMR AT1 single tranche offering by any bank in Oman. The issue attracted a high-quality order book with strong participation from local investors that allowed BankDhofar to set the yield at 6.75%.

Reaffirming its keenness to intensify its social involvement and community outreach, BankDhofar recently supported Omani Association for the Hearing Impaired by providing hearing aid devices. Being an integral part of society, BankDhofar's contribution to the association will contribute to making a positive impact on the lives of this vital segment of society.

Coinciding with the new academic year, BankDhofar launched its “Back to School” Campaign. The campaign translates BankDhofar’s interest and support to school students who represent one of the important segments in the society, as well as the teachers.

With the aim of supporting the government’s efforts to regulate the real estate sector, BankDhofar has recently introduced the Escrow Account Service. This service, which comes in line with the Royal Decree 30/ 2018 and Ministerial Decision 72/2019 issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, will contribute in increasing the confidence among the real estate sector, as BankDhofar will manage the funds as per the terms of the Escrow Account agreement.
