The Children's Account offers a secure and reliable platform to lay the foundation for a prosperous financial journey. From new born to children under 13 years old, this account is designed to nurture lifelong financial confidence in children, empowering them with essential money management skills.

The key objective of the Children's Account is to help children unlock a world of possibilities while setting them on a path to financial success and responsibility. We believe that investing in children's financial education is an investment in Oman's future. By instilling financial literacy and encouraging regular savings habits, we are fostering a generation of responsible, financially literate citizens who will contribute positively to the nation's growth and prosperity.

The Children's Account offers numerous advantages throughout the account holder's life. Whether it is intended for higher education or long-term aspirations, this account acts as a firm foundation for every child's future savings. With options such as 'no minimum balance,' 'flexible recurring deposit,' and 'monthly financial assistance through the social protection program,' opening and maintaining the account is as easy as 'child's play.'

BankDhofar understands that learning the value of money should be exciting, and the banking experience should be thrilling for children. The account allows young customers to set savings goals and witness their money grow, making the process enjoyable and educational. Parents and guardians play a crucial role in guiding their children through this financial journey, fostering a strong sense of financial confidence in them.
Opening the account is hassle-free, as it can be done by the child's father or guardian. All that is required is a passport copy, birth certificate of the child and the father's or legal guardian's identity card if Omani. Expatriate customers need to submit copies of their Resident Card and passport visa page. The father or guardian has the authority to deposit and withdraw money at any time from the account. The account also offers a saving plan deposit scheme and standing instructions.
